Fitting Questions
How long does a pointe shoe fitting take?
Allow 45 minutes for a first fitting and around 30 minutes for a returning dancer.
What should I bring?
Your usual tights, any existing pointe shoes and padding, plus a note from your teacher.
Is there a charge for the fitting?
The fitting is free of charge with no obligation to purchase.
Can a parent or teacher come along?
Absolutely — one adult is very welcome in the fitting area.
How often should shoes be re-fitted?
Growing dancers should be re-checked every 3 to 6 months.
